The U.S. Army Junior Reserves Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) was established in 1916 as part of the National Defense Act. In 1964, Congress extended the program to all military services. JROTC's goal as an organization can be seen above with the mission, "To Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens." The motto is instilled within the curriculum and events the program is responsible for. South Gwinnett's JROTC respects the guidelines and provides quality citizenship, character, and leadership development as well as fostering a warm environment known as the "JROTC Family." |
TeamsSouth Gwinnett JROTC offers four teams that students may join. Students have access to the Raiders Team, Drill Team, Color Guard/Honor Guard & JLAB.

Cadets are required to wear uniform on their designated block day every other week. |
