JROTC annually leads the school's Comet Coalition around the school for the Homecoming Parade generally in September. The colorguard guides the Battalion, as company commanders march the unit with cadences. Cadets typically wear Class B uniform pertaining to weather conditions.
Military Ball
Our annual military ball typically takes place during April and it allows cadets to practice military etiquette. The ritualistic evening begins with the colorguard, then the seniors are escorted through the receiving line. Following those main events, a master of ceremony guides the audience through the POW ceremony, the SAI and BC speech, as well as a cherished guest speaker. The evening is concluded with some dancing and fun.
Community Service
Community service is such an essential component of JROTC. Cadets are provided with annual opportunities such as the Adopt-a-Road service project and opportunities provided by our partner Corporate Events. Companies additionally create their own opportunities for their Cadets and our Cadets are heavily involved on their own.
